Since the
developer did not know who would buy this loft, it had to be designed
with the outmost flexibility. The bedroom area, therefore, was
built with large sliding doors that allowed for the complete separation
of two different bedrooms, or the joining of the two in one larger
space. The kitchen area, not formally separate from the living
room, is defined by a dropped ceiling that forms a sleeping loft
for children or extra guests. Simple planes of cherry plywood
hide utility rooms and pantries, leaving the main space uncluttered.
